Global Justice’s Official Condemnation of the Mar Elias Church Bombing in Damascus

JUNE 23, 2025
Global Justice, An American 501c3 that supports Peace through Strength in the Middle East expresses its heartfelt thanks and gratitude for President Trump’s
Ambassador to Turkiye, and special envoy to Syria, Ambassador Tom Barrack for expressing his condolences for the victims, and their families, of Sunday’s horrifi Susie bombing in Damascus at the Mar Elias Church.

أودى الهجوم الانتحاري على كنيسة مار إلياس في دمشق بحياة 25 شخصاً على الأقل.

Ambassador Barrack stated that “the United States stand with all religions and elements of Syrian society as they build a brighter future”, an effort that is being advanced thanks in large part to President Trump’s strong stance against the number one sponsor of terror in the Middle East— the Islamic Republic of Iran.

Global Justice firmly believes that Iran, which continues to harbor senior global terror leadership, is behind attempts to destabilize Syria and target the Christian minority in that country.

At least 25 civilians were killed in a successful bomb terror attack on Sunday in Damascus. Iran was dealt a severe defeat when its proxy forces fled Damascus in December, and with Tehran’s nuclear program now destroyed, Iran continues to support terror elements as a means to subvert moderate Arab states.
