Global Justice Thanks President Trump for Lifting Sanctions on Syria and Advancing Middle East Peace

President Donald Trump shakes hands with Syrian President Ahmed al-Sharaa in Saudi Arabia after lifting sanctions – a historic step toward peace in the Middle East.

Global Justice, a US-based advocacy NGO dedicated to advancing Peace Through Strength extends its deepest thanks and support to President Trump for signing an executive order on Monday that ended most US economic sanctions on Syria.

Global Justice believes that the Trump administration’s commitment to counter terror support to the Syrian administration will ensure the enduring defeat of ISIS terrorists as well as ensure that Iran’s global terror network is no longer able to establish a foothold on Syrian territory.

As White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt said, President Trump’s actions will indeed “promote and support Syria’s path to stability and peace”

The Syrian American community came out in large numbers to support President Trump’s re-election, and are overwhelmingly supportive of President Trump’s leadership that is paving the way for peace in the middle east. Ending Syria’s isolation will ensure the US has a partner to counter Iran’s attempts to expand its terror proxies, and to prevent ISIS from re-emerging.

President Trump’s historic hand shake with Syrian President Ahmed al Sharaa in Saudi Arabia in May was a monumental moment that will forever change the landscape of the region for the better.

Global Justice continues its efforts to support building bridges between the US and its Syrian partners to fight terror and advance Middle East Peace.
