WASHINGTON, DC – The Global Justice Rescue Team has launched an emergency fundraiser to provide medical supplies, assistance, and aid for the victims of two devastating earthquakes that struck Southern Turkey and Northern Syria.
The earthquakes have caused widespread destruction, leaving over 1,800 dead and over 6,000 injured, with the number of victims continuing to rise.
The majority of those affected by this natural disaster are internally displaced people who are already living in poor conditions and lack access to vital healthcare and medical equipment.
In opposition-held regions in Syria, the earthquake has caused significant damage to areas packed with over four million internally displaced people from the ongoing civil war.
Donations to this emergency fundraiser will help provide medical supplies and aid to those in need and support Global Justice’s mission to provide support and assistance to those affected by natural disasters and ongoing conflict.
